Cookies
This page explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your phone or computer. Websites use cookies to remember things, like whether you are signed in.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies
We do not use cookies to track what you do, to measure how many people visit, or to show you adverts. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar service.
Because of this, you will not see a cookie banner on this website.
The cookies we do use
Staff sign-in
When a member of our staff signs in to the admin area of this website, a sign-in cookie is set. It keeps them signed in while they work and is deleted when they sign out. Patients never get this cookie.
Settings saved on your device
The website may save a small setting on your device, such as whether you have opened the menu or a section of a page. This is not a cookie, nothing is sent to us, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.
Other websites and the NHS map
Some pages link to other websites, such as the NHS App, the NHS website and our online request form. Those websites have their own cookie policies.
Our home page can show a map provided by the NHS so you can check whether your address is in our area. The map is loaded from an NHS website, which may set its own cookies when you use it.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Your browser's help pages explain how. If you block all cookies, every patient page on this website will still work.
Questions
If you have a question about cookies or how we use your information, read our privacy notice or call us on 01708 552 072.
